INCRESEAD PRESENCE OF FYVAR IN EXPORECLAM 2011 – ACTIVITIES HELD

As in previous years, FYVAR was present in the 23th edition of the ExpoReclam fair “ER11”, held on 15, 16 and 17 of February, in the 4th pavilion of IFEMA – Madrid.

Among the accomplishments obtained:  FYVAR’ s  stand, which was 100m2 own design. A further improvement of services for associated that could enjoy an exclusive VIP space "FYVAR MEETINGPOINT" comfortable  rest area with drinks, coffee, snacks, lockers, improved service to keep trolleys and clothes, sending material (catalogs, packages) from the show, internet , etc… all free and exclusive for the FYVAR’s members. Discounts in the m2 of contracted space, a VIP badge, and discount in hotels were other direct benefits, from associated companies in ExpoReclam.

During Wednesday, 16th of February, the Spanish and Portuguese Association of Manufactures and Distributors of Promotional Products, realized parallel activities: Seminar, LVIII General Meeting, Diner for associated companies,  the Awards and FYVAR Gold badge.

FYVAR SEMINARY: During 9 to 11 a.m., in the 9 A8 room of IFEMA, FYVAR has organized a new seminar about Information Security: “Information Leakage Prevention Information Technology, Truth or Myth”, held by Mr. Rafael Ortega of the company Ernst & Young, recognized national and international professional in the area of Information Security. 

58th GENERAL MEETING: At 20:30 p.m.  started the 58th General Meeting, in the Melia Pricesa Hotel (Madrid).

The General Meeting served – among others – to treat the following  themes: Report of activities, presentation of finance accounts 2010 and budge 2011, new projects of the Board and proposals of the presents.

An important item was the dismissed of the Chairman, Mr. Manuel Perozo, after 8 years working and being in the FYVAR’s board.

This decision will be effective in the next Meeting of the board. The same held last March 24, and the Vice-President Mr. Gabriel Moese, takes his function as Temporary Chairman until next elections.

DINNER AND DELIVERY OF THE FYVAR GOLD BADGE:  The event took place in the same hotel and by FYVAR invitation gathered the associates after the last General Meeting.

One of the surprises of this year was having the magician “ Gabriel” that it entertained the party realizing games of magic "PROXIMAGIA" and later show " Between Magics ".At dinner, diners at each  table enjoyed the magic 100% through. The PROXIMAGIA, served in a playful form to do delivery of the gold badge (awarded to companies associated with more than 25 years old), in appreciation for they loyalty.

4rd FYVAR AWARDS: The awards were presented by Mr. Félix Abián, member of the board and responsable for organized the FYVAR events.

Since its beginning the objective of this project has been to recognize the companies and to bring forward the ethic and professional values of the promotional products market in Spain and Portugal.
